Afternoon folks,

That was some rain storm today. Luckily I was not stuck in it but Elaine was. She had to take Jordan and Michael to the dentist. On the way back she was tailgated by a lorry and was extremely annoyed as the lorry was very close to her back bumpy and this was when the rain was pouring down. She had to tap her brakes a few times to let the lorry know that it was too close. To make matter worse there was another lorry in front of her and that was creating big sprays behind it. Driver these days have no considerations to other drivers.

Just to show you how inflated prices are over here in Ireland. Our shower was acting up the other week and for a replacement Triton T90i equivalent. It would have cost us €400. So I decided to change out the wiring, brushes and the outlet thermal cut off switch. I also went and decaled the heater unit. The parts accumulated to €60 and that including the Lidl's W5 lime scale remover. It took me 1 hr to do the job and now the shower is working perfectly. I recommend changing out the brushes and decaling the heater unit at least once a year. Its best to seek professional workmen if you don't know what you are doing.

Started some Essiac tea. It taste like a well known Chinese remedy that is use for making bruising heal faster but without the brandy alcohol. Can't remember what it’s called in Chinese. Maybe my Chinese relations can shed a light on that.

I am starting to grow the wheatgrass again to try out the juices. I will not try the kefir yet as my stomach is still a bit delicate and I have to watch what I am eating.

Elaine is making the dinner tonight. We are having some pork & peppers in creamy, tomato puree sauce with rice. Usally goes down well with our fussy eldest and youngest lads.
