Afternoon folks...

I was feeling a bit low when I woke up this morning. Its maybe the anticipation of my blood tests today. As it happens they came back okay and the staff of the Oncology dept at Tallaght hospital were happy with my results. So as Elaine said earlier on its was nothing to worry about.

At times when the "low feeling" happens there are always other people worse off.

I received an email from a friend last night. His friend six year old boy had being diagnose with a brain tumor. It goes to show you that cancer knows no boundaries. It can strike any time and anywhere. They are in the UK and the new cancer wonder drug Avastin is not available there as the NHS deemed that to be too expensive for its cancer patients. But how can someone make the decision of putting a monetary value between survival of cancer and dying from it. "Good" news is that the NHS in Scotland are are thinking of starting clinical trails…Bleeding politics…and I won't even start...

That’s all for now..

Later,

Sai
