Evening Folks,

We are entertaining Elaine's sister and nephew this weekend. It is nice to see them both. Also it brings a break in our routine which is much needed nowadays.

I felt really down this morning, not sure why but after a heart to heart chat with Elaine I felt much better. So decided to tidy up the study and get a few projects on the road again.

Decided to dust off the lasers I had lying around to help spark some interest on the two eldest in some science and physics. When I was younger I used to be a bit of a physicist before I was turned to electronics. So I had built up a collection of lenses and red lasers. In my earlier years I used to do the laser show at "Fury Murys" with the UnderGround Club on Sunday nights, well it got me in for free and had some free drinks :) It was really a very simple set up that a single Helium Neon laser and a couple of motors with mirrors on them. I still have them somewhere about. But it look so cool especially with the fog machine. I wish I have one of them as well. But at that time it was either gadgets or beer money. So I chose the latter... and Mondays were a killer as I had work to go to. All my friends then were poor students. Wonder what they are up to now...time to look at google or friendsreunitied...
