Back for more...

Hi Folks,

Well, my worst fears were confirmed today. I will require another session of major surgery to remove the lesions in my liver. The original three main ones are still there but in greatly reduced size. My oncologist is referring to a liver specialist in St Vincents to tackle that problem. Then after that and depending on tests I may require further chemo. The oncologist did not elaborate if this will happen or the course. He said that we will decided after the liver specialist had finished then he will plan out a course for me.

Mind you this time round the scars will be major ones...I was told the pattern may be like a Mercedes car badge. The three spokes...ouch. It is too early to speculate on what if or when...So as I said all along a little bit at a time. I am relieved that I know what is beginning to unfold. I can now mentally prepare myself for the tough journey ahead.

Now I off for a nap...I had little sleep last night and I am tired now...
