New Week

Hi Folks,
We went to see Sai yesterday and he looked so much better which was great to see.He has lost a bit of weight-he's down to 12 stones now-as long as his weight goes up the way now.He is eating but has had a bit of the runs from one of his drugs.It seems to be things are looking up at last and then it goes a step back again-just so frustrating! Today he has a bit of a temperature and is now on an antibiotic,so they need to keep an eye on that incase he has an infection.Yesterday the dr took his stomach drain out;he was given a local anaesthetic as the area is tender so i hope there's no infection from that.Can anything else happen here? No is the answer for that please!!!He doesn't want to leave hospital either until his bowels have settled down...one day at a time.......

My mum flies back to Glasgow tonight.She has been terrific as usual.I'll need a home help in to replace her!We're going to sell Sai's wee runaround VW for work as he won't be back at work for a good while now and we can put that towards our new car.

We'll see what tomorrow brings and when we'll be getting Sai back home...later.E
