Afternoon Folks,
My energy levels must have returned to normal as I am doing loads around the house except tidying up the study - don't tell Elaine ;-). Made lunch, fixed Michael bed doors as Ethan and his friend dislodge the hinges. Yesterday I fixed a leak on the dishwasher. Just stuck a fire on and doing a tidy up I found a Prefab Sprout "Steve McQueen" Album on cassette..yes we still have these..It is on in the background and its brilliant. Definitely one of their best. It brings back memories of my earlier years.
Just about to rebuild my PC. I was thinking of using Jordan PC and sticking my HDs into it but then my PC is liquid cooled and his is not...bit of dilemma. At the moment all 3 PCs have annoying bugs on them. Mine I suspect a root kit virus had gone on but I can't seem to clear it. It is very sluggish. Jordan's can't connect onto the Internet and the other one has an dodgy hard drive or a psu problem...Its going to be an interesting few days ahead.
I have been dwelling on the outcome of my scans. My wee gran in Hong Kong was also thinking about it as she called me this afternoon. I had explain to her that I would not find out anything till next week. It is all mind boggling on what might happen...will they operate and remove the tumor in my bowel or would they wait to see if the chemo might get rid of the all my tumors. The chemo treatment is cumulative and each cycle the drug levels build up in my body to combat the tumors. Well at least I find out my chemo marker on Tuesday. I will try and find out about my scans then..and back to the low energy levels.
Jordan is doing his annoying attitude routine again questioning Elaine and my decisions on how to run things around the house. Especially the decisions to ban Michael and him from online games. His outlook in life is so short sighted that it is making me worried. He still does not believe he may be at risk of cancer later on in his life and refuses to eat any veg or fruit. On the subject of online gaming I believe it is okay to play in moderation but it can easier become an addition as kids believe that the online reality worlds are better than the real life and they are drawn to this online world as they can have a better life there..
Just watching Sky news there..there is a bit about the UK's "Healthy Start" program that pregnant women and toddlers from low income background are to receive grants under the program to buy Fruit and Vegetable as well as Milk and Formula for babies..It has been proven that Nutrition in babies have a BIG input on their health in their later years.
Well that's all for now,
Later,
Sai
