Evening Folks,

Before I forget I have to mention that an old friend of ours Gerry popped by yesterday as well. I was too tired last night to remember to put in my blog and definitely the chemo is affecting the old grey matter. It was nice to see and catch up with him. He was still his usual self. His visit also helped me lift my mood.

Talk about grey matter, there is an article on the BBC web site that certain chemo drugs can affect how the the brain cells regenerate. I would not go more into it just please read for yourselves.

As I mention before Lindy was here for a quick visit, she is now on her way home but before she left she coached Elaine and I on Neuro Linguist Programming (NLP). She felt it would help me to better to equip myself in my fight with my illness and long term become successful in life. She also share with me how pent up emotions can affect how our body regenerate and heal itself. One off the main points is that the oldest cell in the body is not what your age is but only about 18 months old. Hence the way you feel can affect the body form the new calls. Some part of the body regenerate more frequently than others. Which was very interesting to learn. The NLP sessions were very powerful and the last one was emotional as well. Even Lindy found that was awesome. I believe that there are good alternative methods out there that are rediscovering how our psyches and our body interacts with one and another and I think NLP is one of the good ones.

I have not had a chance to speak with Elaine on how her sessions went.

Lindy promised to return after the new year to follow up on us...

Talk about regenerations it's best to mention that what you eat can also affect how you body grow new cells. The old saying "if you put shite in, you get shite back out" which I believe is very true.

Later,

Sai
