Another Day Another Dollar

Evening Folks,

Well last night was the best night for sleeping that I had in this cycle. Long may this last...today was the first time I venture out to the main street. It was such a nice day from inside the house and Elaine was urging me to get out. I was glad that she urges me to go out; it was such a nice walk.

My stoma is the latest upset that has creep up on me. It used to have one lump for my waste to expel out. Recently it looks like it had started to grow another lump. But nothing is coming out. It is making fitting for my bag difficult now my stoma is changing in size daily and skin near the stoma is either rubbing on the edge of the adhesive base plate or been attacked by the fluids coming out. Today was particularly bad as it was the first time I started to experience piercing pains in that region. I may need to get this checked out next Tuesday. So far I am managing with what I am doing to help keep that area pain free and clean.

Anyway I am in good spirits and am drafting some keen questions for next Tuesday. I feel that I may have to push the oncologists there to let me know what plans they have for me. Been meaning to call John for some advice so maybe I do that now...
