Dammit !!!

Hey Folks,

I still hanging in there. I had a good night sleep despite the rain and the wind. I got up up 6am as was having one of my hot flushes and decided to go for a walk to cool down...finally finished watching season 2 of the 4400. I had about 8 episode to watch. Yes I know it was on in Autumn of last year. It was during the time of my diagnoses and followup operation. So mentally I think I was avoiding it until now...

Well I finally did what had been praying on my mind the past week. I had this sense of breaking my spectacles but I choose to ignore it as I thought it can't happen a second time... While I was watching TV today I decided to give them a rub to clean them. Well I am not sure now but the bridge snapped while I was cleaning them. I was not rough on them at all. All I heard was a snap and there it was my spectacles in two bits...Well Elaine was kinda glad it broke as she said I need a new pair...We go shopping next week for some. I now have my old round ones on. The last time I wore these was when we lived in the USA before I changed to the current style...Which brings it full circle for me. The reason being is that when I ask the oncology doctor how long I the tumor took to grow to the size it was when I was diagnosed, he said 2-3 years. Which put it bang in the time frame I was in the USA. I would voice my views but one thing that I would point out is that I am still not sure how full fat milk can last for 2 weeks before going off in the fridge...

Feeling tired now and am in bed as I type. I am slowing heating up with the electric blanket under me. My hands and feet still feel like blocks of ice, even with the heat on...I choose to ignore this and put it out of my mind. I was examining my nails today and there are small ridges on them now. I can count 7 ridges so far and as the nail extends underneath the skin I bet there are 2 or more. These I am told are due to the 5FU drug. By the time this is over I would had counted 12...

Did anyone see and hear the thunder and lightening tonight? The first strike was almost directly above us. I witnessed the rain battling against the window and then the next thing was a big flash and I then heard the thunder...the thunder and lightening lasted about 10 mins and it moved on...

Right I signing off for now...

Nite all,

Sai
