Real Pain in the Back Side !!!

Hiya Folks,

Well we keep quoting this saying but gee wiz the area where the lump was is giving me major grief. It sometimes feels like someone had stuck a hot poker up my back passage is twisting it round....ouch !!! Well at least the lump is gone...Lump no more...

My scars are healing nicely and I am still taking pain killers to stop the pain where the scars are. Sometimes when I laugh or move suddenly, I get a jerking pain. Such is life...and I am enjoying every minute of my lump free life. Elaine and her mum are a classy double act, as the banter between them are hilarious and making me laugh.

Well I just received a letter today with a date to go back to hospital. May the 28th for a meeting with Prof Keane...this is to find out what to do with the small lumps in my liver...I wish they are gone too...

I am still not sleeping right. I still wake up after 2-3 hours of sleep and have to go to the toilet as I am still having problems with my water works. It seems that my bladder had shrunk during the operation...

Prof Keane explained to me that where the lump was there are a lot of nerves and during the removal of the lump these nerves may had been bruised and hence the problems with controlling and feeling of the bladder...I hope this goes away soon as it makes take me ages when I go for a pee...15 - 20 mins trying to get the water works going...

Flopsy is doing well. She had grown a bit more during my hospital stay. But I had to repair the wires behind the TV and on some lamps, as she has a habit of chewing the wires. Elaine found this out when she was hoovering and happen to grab an exposed wire that mildly electrocuted her. She felt her botty tingle !!! Ehh !!! I said...a few times before her words eventually sunk in...then I had a look at the wire and holy smoke...it was lucky she just had a small tingle...I went and inspected the rest of the wires behind the TV and I had to throw out 4 mains cable as they were chewed to bits. Its amazing Flopsy is still alive...

Anyway apart from all these small annoyance I am feeling much better as the days goes by. They say that it takes weeks for me to recover fully so I will be patient for a change :-)

Well its time for a nap or bed...

Nite all,

Sai
