Thoughts for today !!!

Hi Folks,

There are a few things that sprung to mind today. One of these are having children and how it bring joy and sadness all at the same time. What brought that to mind is the stubbornness of teenagers. You try to impact some wisdom onto them but they totally ignore your advice. Take for example of keeping the face clean..I lost count on the number of times I told the two eldest to wash their face before they go to bed..yet when pimples and spots appear they start to moan and complain about them. Prevention is better...nope they are either too stupid to see that or they are too lazy to keep up their personal hygiene. On the other hand they can be so wonderful that they fill your heart with joy. Like doing chores and helping out around the house. They can be so thoughtful and kind sometimes...I am not too sure if it is just boys that have these traits as we are kind of one sided in this family...

Flopsy is doing well, Ethan took some pictures of her this morning for a competition from TV3. I still have to download them of the camera. When I do I post up some of the favorites...

I am glad that the Irish Cancer Society had ask for exemptions for cancer patients as timely treatment is the most vital thing that can determine is someone dies or lives from this modern disease. I do hope that the nurses will consider and act upon this. On the other hand if they proceed with this then it will weaken their resolves from other patient groups. As the old saying goes "we cross that bridge when we come to it" for next week.

I am doing today. I never did make the call to the hospital today as we had to go up to Navan to get our car taxed and we popped into an old friend house in Trim on the way back. So we had a busy day...

Before I forget thanks for the emails of encouragement. They are a pleasure to read...
