Hi Folks,
I got an e mail saying haven't seen a blog since last week, you must be busy.....I now realise i've been posting then on Sai's Old Blog! I'll see if I can recover them (since I'm soooo technical!)Oops!
Sai still in hospital. They took the small drain out of the site his bag was on but tonight when I was in it bled. This can be normal,so the dressing was changed.....and then he went to the toilet and was in a lot of pain and it bled again. He's putting a lot of pressure on it as he has gas in his system with trying to get the bowel working again-hat is slowly gerting there but this is a wee set-back.
So-I just phoned the Ward Sister there,(I phoned Sai's room phone before when I got home from the hospital and she answered as Sai is in a lot of pain ) and the doctor on call is with him now.His painkillers don't seem to be working and the wound is still bleeding. He may not be home until weekend or early next week by the look of it...just have to wait and see as there's no point him coming home until he's truly fine again.
I took our poor bashed Mazda into Kilcock to be mended and picked up our hire car,a Zafira (only because I pushed for a 7 seater as I said before but you might not have seen that!)My wee mum still here-she cut the grass when i was at the hospital. She has a rotten cold and can't visit Sai.I picked Michael up early from school as his throat was sore and he's a cough-a bit of my mum's cold I think or he just hadn't done his Business Studies homework!Yesterday the awards were given to students at their school.Jordan was nominated for Student of the Year (3rd Year)-a few are nominated from each class and one person gets the award for each year through the school.Jordan didn't get it though but he did really well to be nominated-first time ever!
Anyway, hopefully Sai will be much better tomorrow-it seems to be up then down,up then down.....he seems to be directing the nurses what to do-and he's spot on too (the technical mind working away!)
There's a young Student Nurse on his ward Jennifer who comes from Bearsden-she moved over here 7 yrs ago.She seems to know her stuff, she'll have no problem qualifying next year.Sai wants me to ask my sister May to bring her over some square sausage-it's a Scottish high fat content thing! (best served on a morning roll which is hard and crispy on the top/outside!)
Signing off now-i'll try and sort old blog postings out, nite,E.x
