Okay anything else ?

Hi Folks,

As you all are aware the was an attempted bombing at Glasgow airport today. Elaine and the kids are meant to be flying back tomorrow. So I am not sure what will happen then. We are all doing fine. So let me wind back a bit and start with our experience today.

I had mentioned before we are over in Glasgow for an enlightment ceremony at my mum's church. I did not mention much as I did not know much in the first place. So we headed out to Tobaco street in the East End of Glasgow to the UK Confucian Society. There we were greeted by my mum's friend and our sponsor Vikki. If it Vikki was not there we would not had any notion of what lay ahead of us. We were to meet my mum at 10:30am but she was caught in a traffic jam on the M8 and was mega delayed. So Vikki explained to us what was happening today. We were to receive a blessing from a Confucian Master that had traveled from Taiwan. This was indeed a special occasion. All I can say was that it was an emotional experience for me and it felt right.

Winding back a bit more we traveled to Tobaco Street via the south side of Glasgow. Past were I grew up Shawlands, Queen's Park, etc. So many familiar sights and some shops are still there from my childhood days. We drove past the mosque in Govan and we pointed this out to the kids. It is one of many landmarks of Glasgow and it should not be frowned upon especially in today's climate.

As I had meantioned in my various rumblings, today's events is becoming another of many that had happened to us for the past year. So we will keep doing the lotto...

It will be an early start for me.
