Wet, Wet and Wetter still !!!

Hi Folks,

Yes, it's the weather I am talking about. What a dull day today, rain and more rain. At least we did not have to venture out today. Elaine was onto the insurance company to sort out another car for us. They are giving us another 7 seater car for another 10 days. At least we can travel safely now as we were using the my wee run about with the five of us in it. The middle back seat has only a lap belt and this can cause more harm if we are in accident.We are still waiting for a boot door for our damaged car...

The nurse cancelled on me today as she had to travel a bit out today to see another patient. So she apologised and said she will pop by tomorrow to check up on me. Elaine and I changed out the dressing today, as the last time we changed it was last Saturday. We put on a temporary dressing on it today, as the nurse would like to inspect the wound to see how it is progressing.

Well the hospital confirmed another appointment for me today to see the oncologist for Friday. Hopefully finally I can have a plan for how they are going to treat me. This is the most unsettling aspect I have at the moment. The sooner I know the better, as I can have a plan to follow.

A couple of friends popped by tonight. It was such a joy to catch up on what been happening outside Enfield. I forgot to add that I popped into work yesterday, I was going in to pay a debt. I ask one of the guys that travels back to Scotland every week to pick up a few bits for me and it was about time I settle up. I was also getting a bit of cabin fever and I needed to venture out by myself. I was glad I did as I sleep quite well last night. That was after battling with a temperature and a little unrest with the duvet. I was either too hot or too cold and I could not settle. In the end I made do with a thin blanket and I sleep for 6 hours on the trot. I felt so awake this morning that I never even bother to have a nap this afternoon.

Well I better get ready for bed now...
