Hi,
I did an update on Thurday but it went onto Sai's Old Blog-sorry.
Sai still in hospital and the CT showed the liquid around his abdomen is being produced becuase of the enlarged liver.It must have been so painful for him but they put a drain in yesterday (Fri) and in under an hour 4 1/2 litres of the fluid was drained out,they then clamped the drain as it isn't good to let it all out as it can cause a shock to the system.They have said the fluid is cancerous.He is much comfier now but still in a bit of pain.Chemotherapy will start again next week and that will be every week for a while.

We were both very upset on Thurday with this setback.With what Sai has overcome in the last year -well,he's just done amazingly (my GP said this to me the other day too).It has spread but you know what the gloves are still on.I'm going to get as much good nutrition into him as i can-there's so much rubbish out there we all eat-the more colourful veg you eat the better it is for you and raw veg being the best.

So Sai will be in hospital until he has his first lot of chemo next week and then will come home.Once the chemo kicks in ,which will take about 2-3 weeks then the fluid will stop producing.We can't quite believe 2-3 weeks ago we they were dicussing surgery on the liver and now the goal posts have changed but Sai has the ability to surprise everyone and we have to stay focused on fighting this.

My mum is on her way over to give a bit of support which is great.Sai is now on the Lynn Ward,Rm 6 which is much better-nobody's tv's blaring and snoring so we're happy about that.Going to get organized now -say some prayers for him.E.
