Sai doing well still.He had his ct scan around 11am.They wont discuss it fully until Monday because they have to compare all his old ct's but were able to say that they didn't see anything 'new' there....or words to that effect.The bowel is still obstructed but looks like it's easing up,he isn't vomiting and had to rush to find a loo (still in a ward) in the middle of the night as someone was in it-he went into the female ward next door and used theirs-(is that TMI?)-anyway that is a good sign,going to loo,it shows things are working in the bowel dept.Dr Higgens ,who's with the
Palliative Care Team and is the 'controlling pain man 'is lovely.He was having a chat with us today and is pretty sure this is a twisted bowel.They sort out out the morphine pump side of things until it's not required.

Poor thing,he's starving-he hasn't eaten since Sunday pm! And keeps seeing food on the tv and everyone in the ward getting their dinner etc,cruel.Sai loves his nosh and is dreaming of spare ribs and dim sum at the Good World restaurant in South Great George St.I took his laptop in and some books and he's giving me orders so is def feeling better.

I'll take the boys in tomorrow to visit after Ethan has been to GAA football and the chimney sweep comes-I might take them to the golf driving range in Celbridge on route.

Michael enjoying himself in Germany,text said he's having a 'gr8' time, which is reassuring to hear.

Anyway,another day along the road of Sai's recovery.Onwards and upwards,nite.E.x

ps Since this is the 21st of Sept i just have to ask does anyone remember the Earth,Wind and Fire song which goes 'Do you remember,the 21st night of September......'well,this is it-so there you are,useless information from me-nite.
