Good Afternoon Folks,

I'm not sure if Sai's in a blogging mood so I'm doing a quick update.

Late Thursday/early Friday Sai got a temperature and they reckoned he had an infection,which isn't good.As he has two abdominal drains in,one on each side then that is an infection risk.The rhs drain had been in for 2 weeks which is a bit long.I did ask the SHO the day before when the drain coming out as it had been in so long-?! Anyway,along with that Sai's stomach got very distended too-so the rhs drain was taken out and a good bit of liquid leaked out too.You see the drain had seemed to have dried up as nothing was coming out for a while-anyway,once that liquid came Sai felt much comfier,it had just got stuck in a wee pocket there.

Sai had antibiotics and his temperature settled,thankfully.The docs and nurses were in and out checking him-thank goodness everthing settled.It looks like chemo will still be on for next week-they had him booked in for Monday! so we'll see if it's still Monday-but he's doing fine today so please God that continues.Sam,Sai's bro is heading back to London tonight and flying back to Hong Kong on Sunday.It was lovely he came over to visit Sai.

I'm going into visit today as i feel a bit wrecked with all the driving and the hospital air is very tiring too.I feel guilty not going in but Sai said have a day off,have a nice bath etc.He has his tv and laptop there and is doing well so he's happy and tomorrow I'll take the boys in to visit and my mum of course who has been here for a month now keeping everything going.She painted my ensuite the other day!
