Evening Folks,

Feeling a lot better today...Still feeling the cold but I am getting used to it. Tomorrow is thyroid scan day for me..Need to go to sleep early tonight as it's an early rising to try and beat the traffic. Talk about sleep last night was the first night that I sleep through without waking in the middle of it. Mind you I went to sleep at midnight and I slept till 6:30am, I also took a sleeping tablet. Which is not bad..the other nights had at least 3 intrusions..

Ok..a few people had ask me about usenets and downloading material from it

First stop is download a usenet program I suggest Newsbin. It has a ten day free trial.

Next step is to subscribe to a usenet server provider. I suggest Giganews...Please click on the banner on the right. It help me to help you..If you are subscribing to Giganews. They have a Newsbin program that is configure to work with their servers only..all you need is to enter your login and password. But then you are limited to Giganews only..

Please read the instructions for Newsbin to set up the various usenet groups. It is very simple once you read the instructions.

Here is a link to other usenet resources. Please do not use the sign-up there for Giganews. Please use the sign up on the right as it will help me keep my cost down..

Another usenet server provider is Easynews. They have various programmes that once you are a subscriber you can earn free gigs by answering surveys and other methods. Again please use the this link to sign up to Easynews. It helps me to keep my cost down.

Once you had done that it is a simple matter of selecting your usenet group and downloading your group posts...
