Evening Folks,

Well I did some DIY today. Put up a hanger hooks for the kids jackets in the play room and put back a support for the utility workspace. Both sound easy...I forgot that the play room dry walling had concrete as a backing. Where I want to put the hanger hooks had no joist for support. Also the distance between the dry walling was only about 2cm. So raw plugs were out of the question. Only found out after drilling the pilot holes. Anyway after breaking a drill to make holes in the concrete. I modified some dry walling raw plugs to fit into the gap and finally mounted the hangar hooks. The other job was not too bad...

Finally managed to find a solution to the hard drive crash and my iTunes library. My iTunes library was on the crashed hard drive..search the web and found CopyPod. It has a 20 day evaluation period. Which is fine for me as the program is not handicapped in anyway that I can see. Ops spoke too soon. It only does 100 songs...I have 5k on my iPod. So I will have to buy the licence. Anyway it is good to support the developers on this brilliant piece of software.

I was reading the inquirer and they had an article on how games consoles have become so additive to young children. In the article they mention a gizmo that forces kids to exercise or the gizmo will switch off the games console. The gizmo can be found here, apparently it meant to stop kids from becoming obese due to lack of exercise and outdoor playing. I do find it is true. Our boys are addicted to the consoles but they had not been playing it as much as before. I try to limit they to 1 hr a day and two hrs in the weekend. I kinda figured out that it was a bad mistake to introduce them to game console at such a young age. Its maybe something that I had wanted when I was young and I am fulfilling that for our boys. It is may be all that social engineering from adverts and TV...Anyway The two older boys are heading for the Mid-Term exams and I think they should use the time to study.

Well feeling a bit tired today. I went to bed a 6:30 am this morning and slept till 11:30 am. Woke up with the kids below me in the play room fighting again...So not much sleep but tonight I heading off to bed early. After I finish here. Being a bit grumpy today to the kids but it maybe its due to the lack of sleep. Otherwise I am fine...

Well Nite Folks,

Sai
