Chemo Day today..3/4 way there now and feeling nauseous. I am finding it hard to eat and drink. Elaine is doing a great job in keeping me on track. I don't think this will last long as I am feeling better the more I rest. A funny thing happened during resting, I was trying to mediate and I fell asleep, which is good in a way. I am experiencing hot sweating flushes which is awkward as I feel so in adequate in dealing with it and its getting me down a bit. Apart for that and the nauseous I am feeling okay. Being positive helps in dealing with this. I starting taking another anti nauseous drugs Valoid to help me and it seem to be working.

Looking forward to getting the pump off on Thursday and starting the two weeks off from the chemo. I think I had picked up a cold and am very sniffy at present and the back of my throat has started to become itchy and it is making me sneeze a lot. Nothing to worried about as my temperature is still within limits even during the hot flushes.

Met with John and Penny today at the day ward. It was good to see both of them and catching up. John was in to see Mr McDermott to go over his lat set of scans.

Well its time for bed. Feeling tired now.
