Evening Folks,

Apologies for not updating this yesterday. I was sleeping most of the day and had little energy in lugging the network gear to the bedroom. Did that today and I am catching up on all the emails.

We were at the hospital getting my pump off and it felt great to finally finish my eighth cycle. All I have to deal with now are the chemo blues.

Feeling much better today. Still a little nauseous but nothing I can't manage. Strange as it seems I had been feeling aches where my main lump is. Since this cycle I had started to feel aches around my mid drift and I think that’s were the other little lumps are. There are two areas that I had identified and I will be keeping an eye on them.

I am still feeling tired and had been resting most of today. I seem to have an natural ability to fall asleep anytime I want when I am tired. Which is good as it stops the mind from wandering and thinking of negative things. It also helps me to sleep when I mediate. The only bad things about this sleeping is the dry mouth when I wake up and the condition of my bag. Last night I had problems with my bag and I had to deal with it three times during the night. Each time I got out of bed Elaine would wake up too. Elaine had been a saint she is keeping me on my toes and bringing me food and drink during the day.

I can't wait till these chemo blues are over and I will try and get into the festive mood. I have not been feeling any bit festive these days. I had suggested to Elaine to skip Christmas and my birthday this year. But we came to a compromise and we are skipping my birthday and having that later next year when I am better.

On the subject of cancer. It is not a nice thing to have and even when you think that you are cured it can sneak back. I met a guy on Tuesday that is having his third chemo session for bowel cancer. He said that his bowel is full of polyps. I give him some advice and the website for the apricots kernels. He is such a nice man and I felt sorry for him. It did give me a scare when he mentioned his condition. The good thing is that during my initial colonoscopy they did not find any other polyps in my bowel.

Well I think I done enough ranting tonight so I off to sleep again.

Nite Folks,

Sai
