Happy Holidays,

Seem to be the correct way to say it these days...

I had a good day today. The kids got their presents and so did Elaine and I. All seem to be happy with what they were given. After the initial early rising at 6am I went back to sleep around 8am. Elaine fell asleep on the couch and we were delayed going over to neighbours house for a Christmas drink.

We had ham and chicken for dinner. I prepared it all and nearly burnt the ham and chicken as I forgot to check them in our main fan assisted oven. Luckily they were a deep shade of brown rather than burnt. We finished our dinner around 6pm and we were stuffed.

Vegged out on the couch for the rest of the night and another friend drop by to wish us a merry Christmas. We had drinks and chatted for a while...

We then all sat and watched Doctor Who and Elaine fell asleep again on the couch. She was dozing on and off till 10pm before she finally decided to go to bed...

Anyway it has been a good day all round and long may it last..
