Almost There...again

Hi Folks,

Nothing happening much today or yesterday. We took the family car for a service. Its the first from out of warranty and the most costly. At least we got a couple of problems fixed. There was a whirring sound coming from the engine and the ventilation both were fixed. So the car will last a while.

I feel good today and I had a good night sleep. Stoma wise I am coping without any serious hassle so far. I still have to face the prospect of changing the bag stuff again. This is the most depressing part of the whole affair. Just looking at it weighs me down every time I look at it especially the state of it now. To be fair its a means for relieving the stress on my bowl. I can't stress how important it is to eat properly and afford the situation I am in.

We watched the Late Late show last Night and saw one of the subjects from the St Francis Hospice documentary. She had the same type of cancer as me but more severe. Bowl and liver.O ne of the comments I vividly remember her quoting from her oncologist saying that if he operates on her the cancer will spread faster. It will be a question that I will ask at the next session. At the moment my lump is hurting a bit and my side is tender. My top of my head is now back to normal. It suddenly went away last night. Just wishing tonight sleep will be more restful...

My friend Aoife is recovering from her life and death operation. She came out of the theater at 8pm last night. She was still sedated from it and her hubby Shane is updating the thread on the boards.

Well enough of my rumbling please spare a prayer and positive thoughts to Aoife.

Nite All,

Sai
