Hey... Still Here !!! :-)

Hi Folks,

Sorry for not posting...nothing is much happening to me at the mo. Just waiting for the Avastin to wear off so that I can go for surgery on my bowel. I received confirmation yesterday from Prof Keane oncology coordinator that he is happy with my progress and I will be admitted to hospital to have the lump removed. This will be about 6-8 week time. As for the liver, after the operation I will be referred to St Vincent to see a liver specialist there to see what can be done for me. It will be a long wait...

I am still suffering from stoma problems and numb feet and fingers. Apart from that I am in good form and am trying to sort a few things out with my life. Sleep wise I think I am doing okay. I still require a rest during the day and I am retiring early every night.

My mum has just left for the airport for her flight back to Glasgow. It was good to have my mum around. She brought me loads of different wild rice to help me with my recovery and candy for the kids. I also caught up with what is happening over in Glasgow.

Well I have a few wee jobs to get around in the house. So I better get a move on.
