Hi Folks,
So, Sai is still in hospital and will be for a wee while-get this,he's having his' bag ' reversed this Friday! This wasn't meant to be happening until July/August but Prof Keane says he will have to do it as it's prolapsed. It'll only be a month by Friday since his big op but if that's the plan then that's the plan.I'm not sure why it's so urgent but it is.Sai's a bit in shock about it as he detests that bloody bag as I'm sure he has said on here.
Ok,you couldn't actually make this up and i jest not but yesterday on the way to visit Sai at Tallaght an ambulance crashed into our car (what was that about D;ream, things can only get better!!) Luckily thank god nobody was injured.Ethan our 8yr old was asleep behind me and Billy a friend of Sai's was a passenger (and a witness!)We had just gone thru the lights at Jobstown and someone ahead braked,so there was a domino braking thing which was fine until i looked in my rear mirror and saw the ambulance, who wasn't on call by the way, coming straight for us way too fast-he mustv'e been distracted-he managed to avoid totally hitting the rear of our car and swerved over to the left-luckily nothing was coming into that lane and whacked the left hand side of our car.It couldv'e been so much worse. The garage today at Kilcock said the chassis was fine-I was hoping for a write off and a new car!I had great fun today phoning insurance companies etc-not.The local guard didn't say much about my British drivers licence-was worried about that-well i did try to change them over in Jan but they sent it all back as i hadn't done something or other and well, you know,it's in a drawer somewhere..
Gas,eh!
This doesn't look so bad when you consider what the family in Portugal are going through just now.I couldn't sleep properly for thinking about that wee angel. Please god a miracle happens now.
My mum is coming back over tomorrow-she's a star!- to give us a hand.Love you mum!
Til tomorrow,bye.E.
