Morning all..

Hi Folks,

It is a wonderful morning today. I am doing okay following a rough weekend. My temperature rose again and I felt crap. I took some paracetamols and that helps to bring my temperature back down. Then my wound started to itch and I may had scratched it during my sleep as the blood was seeping to the surface of the bandage. Elaine and I changed it out yesterday and its not a good sight to behold. Its about 1 cm long and nearly as wide at the extreme and its filled with a big blood clot. I am thinking of having it checked out today. Then I remember the public health nurse is due to come and change the dressing again. I might ask her if maggots will help promote the healing...

As it is I am still taking a bit of time to acknowledge that I am still not fit enough to do most chores around the house and I have to rely on Elaine or the kids to give me a hand. I directed Ethan to load up the dish washer the other day and he did great. I might make that one of his wee chores to do around the house. He takes the bins out and brings them back in at present...

Well I'm off to get ready...
