Rumble in my tummy !!!

Hi Folks,

Well today has been a good day so far. I am in good form and in good condition. Pain wise I am coping without taking many pain killers today. I just took my daily morning dose and have not taken any since. The only problem that I have is my tummy. It is doing overtime at the moment and the bowel is rumbling all the time. Then my bottom..."don't mention the war" is the way I feel at the moment. Anyway it is a little annoyance, just another thing to overcome.

The public health nurse called round today and changed my dressing. It has started to ooze but thankfully the dressing is catching most of it. She was really giving it a go today. Wiggling it into the crater, she did ask me if it was sore. It is hard to describe what it felt but it definitely was not sore, it was itchy and was glad there was something to relieve the itchiness.

Elaine went to pick up the Repose mattress and cushion. The cushion is very comfy to sit on. I have not tried the mattress yet. So I am looking forward to trying it out.
