Is This Summer?

Hey Folks,

Were is the sunshine and the warmth. It feels like a Autumn day today. Chilly and windy. My hands and feet are numb with it. Not to worry a little bit of TLC will cure that.

The nurse came to visit and inspect the wound today. It has slightly became worse as the one of the doctors yesterday had squeezed a part that had closed up and this in turn opened up slightly for some puss to ooze out. Well it is better out than in as they say. But it is a bit tender today enough to make me notice it now and again. Otherwise I am doing okay. I think I am having restless sleep with the impending appointment tomorrow to see the liver specialist. I am doing everything to calm myself down but nothing seem to be working yet. It is tomorrow, so one more day would not make a difference.

Well I was surprise the two older lads went out fishing with a pal. They must had been hooked from last night. At least they are getting some fresh air. Which I need too but it is just a tad too cold today to venture out. Especially after the freezing spell I had yesterday. I should had a bath before going to bed but I decided against it. I will definitely have one tonight. It might calm my nerves a bit before sleep. I had been thinking a lot of the impending appointment tomorrow. I stop reading about cancer in the liver a while back as all I read was not looking good. One thing for sure and confirmed by the doctors yesterday this time round will be much severe than with the bowel part of my recovery. In retrospect the bowel part was a push over. As long as the tumours are not near any major blood vessels then it will be simple sailing otherwise I may have to have some fanciful stuff done to get rid of them. They all said that I have youth and good health on my side. I am been very positive around this and I will pull through as our friend Penny said we are all cancer survivors and it makes us special in our own way. We met her yesterday on our way out of the hospital and spent a few minutes catching up. She has been through the mill at least twice so far with her illness and it had inspired me in great lengths. Compared with what I had she was in a much worse state than I. As I said before a little bit at a time....

Later,

Sai
