Up and Downs...

Hi Folks,

Yesterday was our oldest lad's birthday. Hi is 15...goz where did the years go. It's a wonder how time flys. I remember the days when he was a toddler, I would take him out for a walk into Victoria's Park in Jordanhill during the day to give Elaine a rest. Then up along Crows Road to the shops for an ice cream...He always manages to get most of it on himself. Now he is a tall lad that overshadows his poor wee mum...well the only person shorter than Elaine now is Ethan. Even Michael is taller.

Yesterday was also a day that I felt absolutely crap. I think I was a combination of things that brought that on. Lack of protein was one of them among others...I had my fix of protein then before I retired to bed, I had the most relaxing bath this year. The temperature was good and the amount of water was perfect. I am really fuzzy with bathes..I really prefer a jacuzzi to a bath...for last night I made do with just some bubble bath.

I remember a time when we were down in Stoke-On-Trent many moons ago. Elaine had won a family weekend trip to Alton Towers. Jordan was only 2 at the time and Michael was only 1...and the Alton Tower's new ride Nemesis just opened...Well after a day out we bathe the boys and that bath had the jacuzzi jets built in. I had added some bubble bath into the water and then switched the jets...the boys loved it and were lost on a tub full of bubbles...Ahhh !!! those were the days...

Today is also our wedding anniversary. I made a card for Elaine, I'm not into buying cards as I feel it does not provide the personal touch to a gift...She like it. Well today just about to swing into full gear soon. I had been up since 4'ish and the rest of the family are now just getting ready...I think I might venture out today and check out Tescos...
