Blundering on...

Hi Folks,

Sorry for not posting yesterday. I was not feeling well and was bloated and very uncomfortable walking and sleeping. I hardly slept last two night and only managed to grab 2-3 hours of sleep. Today I was feeling worse and contemplated heading off to hospital to try and sort this out. Anyway I manage to move some during the night and then felt slightly better then later on in the day Elaine took the kids off to Liffey Valley to see a film and to give me some peace and quiet.

She brought me back a pizza to eat. We shared that and not long after that. I felt the bits of pizza moving inside me. Not very pleasant and very painful. Luckily I took some pain killers not long before they came back home. If it wasn't for that I think I would had been in the car heading to Tallaght. Anyway every cloud has a silver lining and this actually moved my system about and most of what was stuck in me came out. What a relief. I felt drained after that and crawled back to my bed and sleep for 2-3 hours. I had to insert ear plugs in as the kids were making a racket downstairs. Can't blame them anyway they are kids. These ear plugs are a god send as I actually slept. It was the most peaceful sleep I had for a long time.

What a simple thing like eating and drinking can turned out to be the most complicated thing for me at present. The experiences of the past few days would had given my diet of soups and smoothies a kick in the butt. As it didn't work as well as I would had thought. I think I need a mixture of soft and hard foods. The pizza was chewed very thoroughly and it still hurt as it travelled through me. So I think I would introduce some pasta or bread into the equation just to try and see what works.

Gos I really felt very low yesterday and today with this darn problem. I had been taking all the drugs the doctors prescribed me and they still did not help. Yesterday was meant to be the last night I should had taken them. I took some this morning trying to move the stuff stuck inside me. I am not really sure what to do as I am in a blind alley at the moment and blundering about trying to find a way out....
