C-Day...

Morning folks,

Just getting ready to head out to the hospital to see my oncologist. I forgot we moved my appointment forward as we have to cancel our trip to Wexford due to my problems with my digestive system. I rang my doctor today to see if I can get a prescription for Fortijuice which is a clear food supplement and he said that I should go in to see my surgical team to see what is exactly my problem is. So I rang the coordinator and spoke with her and took her what had been happening and she said that it is a known problem and as the chemo wears off people have either what I have or the opposite. Well I had both the past two weeks. I also mentioned to her that I had some antibiotics last week for my wound and since then I been having these pains. She said that I may have a gastrolitis problem and I could get something to control that. Well I can't imagine all these complications happening at the same time but it must be as I feel wrecked with it all. I managed some potato and leek soup last night but even that give me pains during the night...I think I really need to give my system a couple days of rest and I might feel fine after that. We see what the doctors say today...

Elaine give me a wonderful back massage this morning and I felt nice and relax after that. I also change out the dressing on my wound it has all closed over and is healing nicely now. So I am hoping that they put me back on the Avastin again as it is the only thing I know that can halt the tumors from growing and spreading. I am also very curious on what else they would put me on. I want a treatment plan that will help me improve my immune system to kill off the cancer cells and not something that will suppress it. We just have to wait and see...

Well it getting close to get going and we have to go and chase the lads to get ready...
