Hi Folks,
Yet another day is over. Today lessons were about paying respect to our elders especially our parents. The master told a very moving story about how when she was a child her mother had sacrificed a lot of time and money to her and her six sisters. This was due to her undying love to her children. Even when she was frail the master would call her before she travelled abroad and she would tell her to look after herself. As the master suffered from poor health when she was a teenager. Enough to be hospitalised. Even there her mother would stay with her to care for her for the 40 day duration of her illness. They the class went on to explore the humble beginnings of the movement and the history of the past masters. I didn't know that the current movement started in the late 19th century. Interesting day it was...
Even as adults the parents are still concerned about us and put their welfare before themselves. I know as my mum is always worrying about me. The past few days she seem to be at ease as I have been blessed and I am doing okay. I am still taking a day at a time and enjoying the now. I am leaving the worries of the past and the future aside. What is meant to be will be...BTW this attitude to life was developed before these classes and the blessing. I coincidental that they all happened roughly at the same time.
On the way home I decided to take a bus as I wanted to pick up a few bits for Jordan's PC. Also the PC shop was on the route home. While I was there I thought of popping by Libby and Peter, their house was the route home too. It was good to see them. We chatted for a couple of hours and had a lovely cup of tea with cake. Hey I was only popping by. In the end Peter give me a lift home. It was so kind of him. I was happy to catch the bus....
I changed my dressing tonight and it looking okay. There was a smell coming from the padding. This was like a bloody dressing type smell and did not smell nasty at all. Still packing the hole but it is not deep now. Which is a major relief. For good measure I packed the new crater as well.
Missing Elaine and the kids a lot. Elaine called tonight and we chatted for almost half an hour. I'm glad she is sleeping okay...
Right time to get on with stuff...
Nite All,
Sai
