Evening Folks,

Well today and tonight Sai sounds like well,Sai and that hasn't been the case in a while so hopefully this has turned around at last-please God.He said he wasn't holding onto things to go to the toilet as he was doing,stooped a bit like a much older person would do.He went a stroll to the hospital shop too,so is definately feeling much better.I don't think he's been out of his room since last Sunday-well,the porter took him for an x ray a couple of days ago but that doesn't count.

He had his 2nd lot of anti-bodies yesterday but that doesn't seem to have horrible side effects on it's own.He has come out in spots though-the chemo but feels they look better today.I feel really hopefull that it is turning around now and if it isn't I'll just be so gutted.Positive thinking now!He'll be home Monday if things continue to improve,That'll have been 3 weeks in there-no wonder his head feels wrecked! I'm making some chinese soup and taking it into him tomorrow.It has bits and bobs of things i don't know the names of (which we keep in the bottom of the freezer) and a frilly fungi thing that come in packets,boil it up with a couple of pork chops (well my butcher gave me a really good piece of pork instead-he just wants Sai to get better,as do lots of people here,always asking after him!)and strain it off and drink the liquid.Anyway,onwards and upwards and one day at a time and we'll get there.He has lost a bit of weight,12 stone so have to build him back up but he is eating more now.Maybe his wedding ring will fit now as he says it's been too tight and hasn't worn it for a while.It really is quite small,i'm surprised he's ben able to wear it all these years.When we came back from the States he was 15 stones!!! and he still wore it then,although his finger was white underneath!!!We'll have to get it made a bit bigger when he's home and feeling better...off to watch Grey's Anatomy,night..cross fingers he's on the up!!!E. x
