Afternoon Folks,
I took the boys into see Sai yesterday-he hadn't had any painkillers and had just had lunch.He wanted to wait until after his lunch before he took painkillers but was then in so much pain and got very upset.We didn't stay very long -the nurse gave him his painkillers and anti-biotic drip and he just had to sleep.It's very upsetting to see him like that.He seems to think it's best to not take painkillers but he has to until this pain is resolved.The doctors aren't sure where it's coming from but may be the liver.Once the chemotherapy kicks in it should subside-well that's what was said so i might just try and have a word with one of the team about that.The pain is so sore and we can only imagine what he's going through.

Today he'll get another lot of the anti-body'Cetuximab'.He won't be home this week by the looks of things.I think he'll have his 2nd lot of chemo next Wed and once he's over that and hopefully the pain will be gone,then he should be home maybe at the weekend.His bowels are also still all over the place.If he could just get the bowels and pain sorted then he feels he can handle the rest but it's very hard as i feel so helpless.I don't like the boy's seing him like this either,they aren't saying that much about it all.Michael isn't sleeping well and i thnk it's because he's missing his dad.I'm taking them to counselling next Mon evening.She's a child psychologist and does counselling voluntarily-it'll do them good to talk about this.Sai asked me to go in see him on my own today so i have to try get Ethan minded.Anyway,better go get organised.Have juiced some veg for Sai.I'll try make some nice soup tonight for him-hospital food isn't the best.Another day forward to Sai's recovery,
