Morning Folks,

I just spoke with Sai there-he was up to toilet every 2hrs and as usual is a bit tired,although he said he feels a bit stronger which is good.He's back on the food supplement (intravenous) which means he will be getting 'fed' as his stoma is blocked and isn't working -if that would just start working.He's amazing as he keeps on dealing with it all and is focusing his mind to overcome it all-he has such strength and determination,I'm so proud of him.

Sam ,Sai's bro is here for a visit from Hong Kong and is staying with us.And my super mum is still here,holding everything together.It would be much harder to be going back and forward to Tallaght everyday without her here.

There's a programme on about acupuncture-maybe be good for Sai to try that.We've never had any acupuncture (well i had a metal stud on my ear to try help with sickness in pregnancy which was acupuncture-this exacerbated my vomiting and i ended up in Paisley Hospital for 9 days as i was visiting my mum at the time.I again was in Mullingar Hospital for same for 11 days.If anyone has had hyperemisis you'll know just how awful you feel ,all the time...)

Anyway,everyone is rooting and praying that Sai will get over this-he just has to-he's needed too much!Seemingly chemotherapy is going to be talked about this coming week,so we'll see what the plan is now.As Sai said they took his staples out on Friday so that's a step forward and on Tuesday his sutures will come out-they are very tight and they had to be as Sai's stomach got so distended,so that's be another step forward.

It is very hard to watch the man you love going through all this-as it is for the boys watching their dad,as it is for Sai's mum watching her son,as it is for our other family and friends and it ripples out and out......
