Whoa !!!

Hi Folks,

I am doing great these days. I just can't believe I was in hospital this time last week with tubes hanging out of me and staples in my tummy...There are still a few annoying after effects like a sore butt, jerking pain, a slight water works problem and the tiredness. All in all I think I am coping well so far. I sometimes forget that it's only just over a week since my operation and I tend to revert to doing things that I shouldn't have. I even went and washed the car today...which had tired me out a bit and reminded me that I still need to take things easy.

Pain wise I think I am coping. I started to extend the time before taking my dosages again. Sometimes it is fine but other times it's bloody sore...all depends on what I had been doing in between dosages. I will keep this up for another couple of days and then I will start reducing the dosage and maybe the frequency as well.

Sleep wise I am starting to manage my sleep pattern. It seems to be for every 4 hours awake I sleep for 2 hours. I am still having a nap at least once a day. I even go to bed at 9'sh at night time. When I do go to bed early I sometimes sleep right through till the next day but lately I wake up around 2'ish and potter about for a few hours and then I go for another sleeping session. It seem to be working and I am awake most of the day...

Family wise, everyone is doing great. Elaine's mum, Myra, is still here and is spoiling us to bits. She doesn't sit still for any amount of time and is constantly on the go...she will be going home on Tuesday and she will be sadly missed.

Well I think better get a move on...
