Me Again..

Hi Folks,

Just about recovered from my ordeal at the hospital and with chemo this week. I am putting on weight again and I am now past the 12 stone mark. I am generally feeling good despite having an odd sleeping pattern. I usually have a 3-4 hour sleep in each 12 hr cycle. It is not making me overall tired or stressed and I am coping. Pain wise I still require a top up at least once every 12 hours...

The two older boys are home today as the got a day off due to the junior cert results been out yesterday. Jordan passed all his subjects and got a A in Maths...the only C he got was in German and all the rest were B's. We are very proud of his accomplishments and we will treat him to something nice in the weekend.

We had been busy with all sorts visitors all this week. The members of the Home care team that are dealing with us had been coming out to introduce themselves and to let us know what they can help us with. Also our GP had been popping by to give me a daily check up. I feel very humble for all of them to come out to see me.

We also had some very pleasant visit from friends as well. It is good to catch up and chat. It is so good to be back home and been able to do my own things and eat good food. It is also nice to be with Elaine and the kids too.

Well there is nothing much to add so till tomorrrow...
